Curtis Sharkey is a results-oriented music and entertainment publicist with over seven years’ experience working for some of the biggest acts and music events in the world.

His previous role as Senior Publicist at LD Communications saw him leading creative campaigns for Live Nation, Festival Republic, Kerrang! Awards, Sony Music, Island Records, Universal Music, VEVO, Abbey Road Studios and saw him recognised by industry bible Music Week as a ‘Rising Star’ in his area. With a breadth of experience and contacts across print, online, broadcast and social influencers Curtis is able to deliver tailored, multi-faceted campaigns for artists, bands, events and brands alike.

After touring the UK as a drum technician and musician in his own right - from the UK’s ‘toilet circuit’ through to arenas, Curtis got his start in the publicity working with renowned national radio plugger Hayley Codd at Public City PR. From there he garnered experience at Chart Show TV, Warner Brothers & Parlophone Records, SpiderPR, LD Communications and Inside/Out before going freelance in 2019
